A Message from the President
 Welcome to the Blackburn College website! Thank
you for visiting. Blackburn College is about human relations and leadership. We all have our Blackberries, text messages, blogs and email, but what sets the Blackburn experience apart is our one-on-one human communication. You can’t hide behind a computer here. The Work Program involves students in every aspect of running the college, and small classes mean you’ll be meeting with your professors face-to-face. Effective communication, even in the 21st century, is so much more than email, Twitter and Facebook: it has a human face. Here at Blackburn, you’ll gain valuable insight into interpersonal connections, teamwork and what it takes to be a leader. Blackburn College is a unique educational experience, and one I hope you will want to pursue.
