Blackburn Campus

Ludlum Hall

The administrative center of the campus is named to honor Robert P. Ludlum, the 10th president of Blackburn College. Like most other buildings around campus, Ludlum was built by students, under the direction of Howard Lemaster, who oversaw the construction of Olin, the Alumni Hall of Biology, Lumpkin Library, and Graham Hall. Construction required time, money, and patience. Ultimately, it took five years to build, 50,000 hours of student labor, and $225,000.  Ludlum Hall was completed in 1966.
