Who holds membership in the Alumni Association?
You do! As soon as you walked across the stage for your diploma or
attended full-time for two semesters, you are a member.
What does your Alumni Association do?
The Alumni Association is involved with major campus events such as
Homecoming, Phon-A-Thon and the Senior Banquet. Each year Alumni
Association Awards are presented at Homecoming and at Commencement
to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of Blackburn
Alumni and Friends. Other functions include advising the campus
community on alumni needs and concerns, identifying prospective
students, serving as a sounding board for college staff, assisting
with alumni gatherings, and representing alumni on the Board of
Trustees.
How do I become involved in Alumni activities?
Notify the Alumni/Development Office of your interest. There are
numerous ways to become involved in Alumni activities!
The Alumni Association and the Board of Directors are always open to
suggestions. If you have something you think the Association could
or should be doing, please let us know.
