Most Runners in School History

 Blackburn begins the 2008 season with a handful of returners and many experienced newcomers. Head Coach Michael Williams begins a new campaign with the most cross country runners in school history. Williams believes that this team will have a strong showing at the SLIAC conference meet in early November.

Blackburn will be led by senior Will Grohler (Sullivan, IL), junior Dustin Crone (Streator, IL), sophomore Brandon Shellenberg (Granite City, IL), sophomore David Orzechowski (Midlothian, IL) and sophomore Marissa Buescher (Smithton, IL).
