Blackburn Softball Ends Season In SLIAC Tournament

 The Blackburn College softball team saw their season come to an end with a 3-1 loss to Websterin the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament Friday evening, May 2 at Maryville University in St. Louis.

The Beavers, who had finished fourth in the regular-season SLIAC standings, came in third in the tournament, as Blackburn had earned the right to play on Friday with a 3-0 elimination win over Greenville in Thursday’s late session. It was the second consecutive tournament appearance for the Beavers, who also finished fourth in the conference last season. Full Story
