Blackburn Tennis Wins Sportsmanship Award The
Blackburn College women’s tennis team finished in seventh place at
the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships
Friday and Saturday, April 25-26 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center
at Forest Park in St. Louis.More importantly, Blackburn was awarded the conference’s Sportsmanship Award, which is given each year by the conference to the team in each sport that has displayed the highest principles of sportsmanship. The prestigious award was a fine ending to a season that saw Blackburn work hard and conduct themselves in good fashion with a roster that was low in both numbers and experience. Full Story |
