Stephanie Lewis Named to All-Tournament

Junior Outside Hitter Stephanie Lewis of Peoria Heights
(Peoria Heights, HS) was named to the all-tournament
team this past weekend at the Eureka College Tournament.
At the tournament the Blackburn College Volleyball Team
dropped their four matches played over the weekend. On
Saturday, Blackburn was defeated by Robert Morris
College-Springfield by the scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-15
and then by Eureka College by the scores of 25-14,
25-23, and 25-13. Then on Sunday, Blackburn was defeated
by Centre College by the scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-8
and then by Knox College by the scores of 25-12, 25-22
and 25-9. “We are working hard and playing hard, I’m
enjoying coaching and being around this team,” said
Blackburn Coach Ryan Sackett.
