At Blackburn, we pride ourselevs and promote our students to get involved in the local community, helping out with community service projects and representing Blackburn College as a caring group of young adults who are community minded. Below are a few examples of community opportunities currently being explored by Blackburn Students.
Habitat for Humanity
Founded in 2001, this group gives thier time, talents and hard work to help build houses for those in need.

Volunteer Club
The volunteer club promotes one time volunteer opportunities in the Carlinville and surround communities. Additionally, members plan long distance trips to be completed over breaks or extended weekends, such as the Fall Break Trip to Galveston Texas to do hurricane relief work.
