Our goal is to graduate active, liberally-educated mathematicians and computer scientists—people who can think clearly and creatively, solve problems, and express their results effectively.

In order to reach this goal, we are committed to:

  • providing a sound foundation in the student’s chosen field;
  • fostering independent thinking and active learning;
  • encouraging faculty-student interaction and research;
  • maintaining a well-trained faculty dedicated to teaching but committed to continued personal intellectual growth.

Our office doors are open. Come on in. I just heard about this new idea . .
