Rahme Learning Center
The
Rahme Learning Resource Center is named after the late Mary H.
Rahme who was a former Blackburn College faculty member. Funding
for the building was made possible in large part by a gift from
her husband, Selim Rahme. The building, which had provided a
small teaching area, a conference room and large storage space
for Lumpkin Library, was completely renovated by students in the
Work Program during the 2003-2004 academic year. Rahme now
boasts six faculty offices, three spacious classrooms, a
technology classroom, an elevator, the Donna Hendrickson
Curriculum Library and a writing lab. Future plans allow for
further basement renovations to make room for expansion within
the Education Department. See inside this building |
